How to Read SCROOMS Creature Frequencies
Section titled “How to Read SCROOMS Creature Frequencies”Use the name shown on the catch card first, then compare its area and frequency band. Several creatures share a frequency range: a matching number does not identify a species or guarantee an encounter.
The numbers here follow the community Index reference. Dewleaf and Bramblepip retain conflicting printed ranges in their field notes. Check your current in-game card rather than treating either community table as an official balance document.
Species, rarity and mutations
Section titled “Species, rarity and mutations”A base species, its rarity and a mutation prefix answer different questions. A modified creature can still be the same species for an Index check. Do not assume a mutation creates another base entry or meets a quest’s exact prefix requirement.
The community Index also includes non-creature items such as Wishing Shards. Those items are excluded from this creature collection.
Choose a Creature, Instrument or Quest Guide
Section titled “Choose a Creature, Instrument or Quest Guide”Looking for an Eversung? Choose a named target before copying a general rarity route. Preparing a Runic hand-in? The Requiem guide distinguishes a discovery from a creature you still hold. If a target is out of reach, use the instrument cards.
