For a sigil-marked door, use Song of Passage. Unlock it through The Scratched Score, select it in the Ocarina’s Known Songs and enter the displayed notes.

Learn and play Song of Passage.
These are different progression checks. Homeward Melody returns you to your spawn; it does not open a sigil door. A thorn barrier belongs to a different song task.
Start The Scratched Score Quest in Sorin’s Respite
Section titled “Start The Scratched Score Quest in Sorin’s Respite”In Sorin’s Respite, use the scratched wall’s Examine interaction. Accept the task before working on its catches so you can check the counters in your Quest Log.
The reviewed launch route records five conditions:
- Six different Scrooms caught in Sorin’s Respite.
- Twenty-five completed perfect catches in that region.
- A Sagebell at 400 Hz or above.
- A Kitsura at 800 Hz or above.
- Level 56.
Treat the current objective panel as the final checklist if it differs. Species and frequency are separate conditions: a lower-frequency catch of the correct name may still fail the requirement.
Claim Song of Passage and Play the Displayed Notes
Section titled “Claim Song of Passage and Play the Displayed Notes”Once every check is complete, return to the same scratched wall and interact again. Open the Ocarina and verify Song of Passage appears in Known Songs. The reviewed menu shows F → S → A → W → F; use the current displayed inputs if they have changed.
Song of Passage Not Opening a Door: Check the Obstacle
Section titled “Song of Passage Not Opening a Door: Check the Obstacle”A successful cast opens the marked seal. The official Open Sesame badge describes opening a gate with Song of Passage.
If you return to spawn, reselect the correct song. If the song plays but solid rock remains, check whether you are at a quest wall rather than a sigil door. If the song is absent from Known Songs, return to the wall’s task and reward interaction.
